Terms and Conditions (Cancellation Policy) PLEASE READ.

Applying a checkmark in this section is your CONSENT to the Terms and Conditions outlined herewith CANCELLATION POLICY (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY): The term "You" in this context is referring to the student if the student is of legal age, or to the parent or legal guardian of the student and the student collectively, if the student is a minor. CANCELLATIONS, BEING LATE, NO-SHOWS 1) 24 Hour written notice is required for any cancellation, via email to vocals.vaughan@gmail.com or via text message to 647.668.5272. 2) No Notice, less than 24hr written notice or No-show = loss of lesson with no option of rescheduling. If you cannot make it to your lesson or assessment for whatever reason, you may choose to do it online. 6hr written notice is required for this change. No price, time slot or duration adjustments. 3) Being LATE to your lesson: Please note that if you are late to your lesson for whatever reason, we cannot accommodate the make-up of the time you missed. In addition, we will only wait for ten (10 min) from the start of your lesson, after which your lesson will be considered a NO-SHOW. 4) If you cancel a lesson and require a make-up lesson to be arranged, please note that it is your responsibility to make this arrangement with us as soon as possible. 5) Three (3) consecutive No-Shows/Cancellations - we reserve the right to cancel any and/or all further lessons you booked with no refunds or notices and release the time slot to another student immediately. 6) Any lesson cancelled by us will be rescheduled at a mutually agreed upon time based on availability. We will offer you a total of two (2) options for this makeup lesson, and if you cannot make it at the suggested times, this lesson will be lost. 7) LESSONS DO NOT GET CARRIED OVER BEYOND their respective EXPIRY DATES and, if unattended, SHALL EXPIRE at the end of the package, no exceptions. Rescheduling is available within the time frame of the package only, subject to availability. 8) If you require rescheduling beyond the expiry date of the package, it is available at extra cost. Please contact us regarding same. TIME SLOTS for LESSONS *Renewal of Packages: you may renew the same package or choose a different one once your package expires. *WE DO NOT RESERVE TIME SLOTS. If you wish to keep the same time slot for the next package, you MUST book your next package as soon as possible, otherwise your time slot may be booked by another student. *If your situation changed and you cannot keep your time slot please note that we cannot guarantee another time slot to put your lessons to, but we will try our best to accommodate. ADJUSTMENTS TO PACKAGES *If you must switch from in-person to online lessons OR VICE VERSA, during your current package, we do NOT refund the difference in price and do not accommodate changes in duration of lessons. PAYMENTS *There are no refunds or price adjustments (discounts) on any single lessons, packages or rescheduling fees whatsoever. *WE DO NOT ACCEPT PARTIAL PAYMENTS. *If you would like to send an E-transfer or pay cash for your lessons, please contact the school BEFORE you book them. Thank you. Please note that your lessons will be cancelled immediately if the payment is not received within 24hrs of booking. *Any NSF, cancelled, bounced or returned payment is subject to a $50.00 fee. OTHER TERMS *Please note that the parents must wait outside of the premises during the lesson (aka please do not come in to the building as we do not have a sitting area.) You may leave your child with us and come back later to pick them up. However, you MUST BE PRESENT at the end of the lesson to pick up the child. *Please note that the playground area outside of the building is private property that is NOT part of our school. Please do not use the playground while you are here. Vocal School of Vaughan is not responsible for any damages related to the use of this playground or any items there. *You may park anywhere around the building. If you park at the other surrounding buildings, please note that you do so at your own risk. *If you have symptoms of COVID-19 or any similar viral/bacterial viruses or infections PLEASE DO NOT COME IN to our school. “I have read and understood all the terms and conditions outlined herewith. I acknowledge that the terms and conditions may be changed by Vocal School of Vaughan with prior notice to me. I agree to fulfill all the financial terms of this Agreement and further release Vocal School of Vaughan from any claim for damages and/or injuries which may be sustained while participating in any activity, including use of any equipment within the school premises. I agree to allow Vocal School of Vaughan to use any photos or videos or audio recordings of myself and/or my child for promotional purposes only.”
